- Generate and disseminate knowledge about the treatment of rare diseases.
- Promote the conduct of evaluative research into rare diseases.
- Encourage an appropriate and safe use of orphan drugs.
- Evaluate and improve health outcomes in connection with orphan drugs.
- Identify new ways of funding orphan drugs.
- Promote a closer relationship between hospital pharmacists and patients with rate diseases and their associations.
- Disseminate the knowledge generated by the Group through databases and publications.
- Position hospital pharmacists as reference points in the treatment of rare diseases.
