 Silvia Berisa Prado

Silvia is a hospital pharmacist at theNavarre University Clinic (Pamplona). She has long-standing experience in the compounding of drugs for ophthalmologic applications. She has been a member of the workgroup since 2017. Since then, she has designed ophthalmologic treatments and added value to the complex field of ophthalmology and has started working in the budding field of advanced therapies.

 Virginia Puebla García

As a hospital pharmacist, Maria Pilar is responsible for the new compounding section of the pharmacy department of the Santa Cristina University Hospital (Madrid). She has been a member of the workgroup since 2017 and served as secretary since 2020. She is an ardent advocate of safe and high quality compounding practices.

 Cecilia Martínez Fernández-Llamazares

President of the Spanish Society of Hospital Pharmacy (SEFH). PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Granada. Specialist in Hospital Pharmacy. Pharmacist in charge of the Maternal and Child Health area Gregorio Marañón University General Hospital (Madrid).

 José María Alonso Herreros

Jose Maria holds a PhD from Murcia University. He specializes in hospital pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, pharmaceutical compounding and has a Master’s degree in healthcare management and planning. He is the head of the pharmacy department of the Los Arcos - Mar Menor Hospital.

 Carme Cañete Ramírez

Carme is a pharmacist at the pharmacy department of the Vall d’Hebron Maternity Hospital (Barcelona). She specializes in pediatric neumology and cardiology as well as in providing pharmaceutical care to pediatric outpatients. She is responsible for extemporaneous and non-sterile preparations at her department. She has been a member of SEFH’s pharmaceutical compounding workgroup since 2014 and of the European Pharmacopoeia Commission’s PaedForm project since 2020.

 Ana María Martín de Rosales Cabrera

Ana Maria holds a PhD is Pharmacy. She serves as a pharmacist at the hospital pharmacy of the Alcorcon Foundation University Hospital. She is responsible for the sterile and non-sterile drug compounding section. She has authored numerous articles and book chapters, and has coordinated several research projects related to sterile preparations, formulations for rare diseases and quality in the pharmacy setting. She is a member of the team responsible for drafting the Spanish Health Ministry’s and AEMPS’ Medication Compounding Guidelines.

 Vicente Merino Bohórquez

As a hospital pharmacist, Vicente is responsible for the drug therapy individualization and quality control division of the pharmacy department of the Virgen Macarena University Hospital (Seville). He holds two Master’s degrees, one in pharmaceutics and the other one in pharmaceutical care and continuity of care. He also completed a postgraduate course on pharmaceutical processes and investigation. She has participated in different research projects on antibiotics and biologics at the Carlos III Health Institute. He has also served as principal researcher for several SEFH-sponsored projects on the physico-chemical stability of pediatric oral formulations, including formulations for rare diseases.

 Ana Cristina Riestra Ayora

Doctor of Pharmacy and Master in Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Therapies from the University of Oviedo. Head of the Pharmacy Department at the Onkologikoa Foundation (San Sebastián) since 2021, with a background as a hospital pharmacist specializing in pharmaceutical technology. Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Deusto.

 Pedro García Salom

Doctor of Pharmacy. Head of Section of the Pharmacy Service at the Doctor Balmis University General Hospital (Alicante), responsible for the Pharmaceutical Technology Unit. Former president of the Valencian Society of Hospital Pharmacy.

 Félix Jesús García Moreno

Specialist in Hospital Pharmacy at the Gregorio Marañón University General Hospital (Madrid). Head of the Pharmaceutical Technology area. Collaborating researcher in AES/FIS (ISCIII) projects and in clinical trials with independent sponsors.

 Anxo Fernández Ferreiro

Specialist in Hospital Pharmacy at the University Clinical Hospital of Santiago (CHUS). PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Clinical researcher for the Galician Health Service (SERGAS), coordinator of the Research and Innovation Unit of the Pharmacy Service at CHUS.

 Mar Panisello Cardona

 Rubén Aparicio Peñacoba

 Clara Cortell Fuster

Specialist in Hospital Pharmacy, responsible for the Pharmaceutical Technology Area, in the Pharmacy Service of the La Fe University and Polytechnic Hospital (Valencia). PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Valencia (2024).
