The GTEII workgroup shall address therapeutic, adherence-related and patient-reported outcome-related aspects associated with the utilization of biologic drugs as treatment for immune-mediated inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, atopic dermatitis and inflammatory bowel disease.

Its goals will include:

To promote continuous professional development of hospital pharmacists in the field of immune-mediated diseases in order to contribute to rationalizing therapeutic management and enhancing patient wellbeing.

To carry out training and research projects aimed at generating health outcome information on patients suffering from immune-mediated diseases.

Raise the awareness of other health professionals and patients about the role of hospital pharmacists in the management of these diseases, encouraging communication between the professionals working specifically on the treatment of these conditions.
