The main objective of the Fhusion workgroup is to promote, support and facilitate the digital transformation of Hospital Pharmacy by pursuing two main strategies:

  1. To ensure that all SEFH members can access formal hands-on accredited training courses on digital skills and digital health literacy applied to hospital pharmacy.
  2. To create an open, innovative and collaborative ecosystem made up of different internal and external stakeholders that promotes the development of digital solutions to the problems faced by our patients and/or that facilitates the work of hospital pharmacists in the different areas of professional practice.

Other goals of the Fhusion workgroup include the following:

  • Establishing a basic ongoing training program on digital competencies targeted at hospital pharmacists and related professionals (in cooperation with SEFH’s training department).
  • Establishing a cross-sectional training journey for hospital pharmacy residents (in cooperation with the TUTORES workgroup).
  • Supporting and advising SEFH’s Governance Board and any such SEFH workgroups as may require it on all the different aspects related to the society’s digital strategy.
  • Bringing together all such hospital pharmacists as may be developing innovative projects related to the application of digital technologies to health in order to promote collaboration and the exchange of ideas, projects and experiences (together with the TECNO workgroup).
  • Collaborating with different healthcare stakeholders to design, plan for and implement the gradual digitalization of the services provided by hospital pharmacists.
  • Developing digital health literacy among SEFH members through relevant training courses.
  • Disseminating information on digital health and hospital pharmacy.
  • Collaborating with other scientific societies that have an interest in digital health and share at least some of the goals of the Fhusion workgroup.
  • Ensuring that hospital pharmacists are the go-to professionals for the valuation of digital healthcare technologies (together with the TECNO workgroup).
