The new FarmaTrasplante workgroup shall closely collaborate with other workgroups under SEFH, SEFH members and other Spanish and foreign scientific societies to raise the profile of hospital pharmacists in the field of solid organ transplantation in Spain.
Spain is the world leader in organ donation and transplantation and has become a role model at an international level. The high therapeutic complexity involved in transplantation procedures and the need of a multidisciplinary approach require the active participation of hospital pharmacists in multidisciplinary transplantation teams.
We hope the Farmatransplante Workgroup contributes value both to patients, their family members and caregivers, and to all healthcare professionals. We would also like to become a valued addition to SEFH’s workgroup family, which has for many years been making an essential contribution through the great work of SEFH members.
