The mission of SEFH’s HIV workgroup is to encourage continuous improvement in the clinical, educational and investigative work carried out by hospital pharmacists in the care of HIV patients.
To achieve that goal, SEFH’s VIH workgroup seeks to encourage communication between professionals specifically dedicated to these patients, disseminate scientific and technical information related with antiretroviral therapy, serve as an advisory body to SEFH in this domain, promote the conduct of multi-center studies, foster the continuous improvement of pharmacy departments, promote the recognition of the work done by pharmacists, and increase the profession’s prestige in the realm of antiretroviral treatment.
